Kitsch Bitch

Housing the homegrown Viennese label of the same name, Kitsch Bitch, this store possesses as much attitude as the moniker suggests. The design was inspired on ground level by it’s young founder, Lilly Egger, who favors a strict, classic color scheme of black and white. “The sayings and designs are catchy enough,” she explains. Like other twentysomethings, she draws inspiration from her friends and those they meet out on the town. “I started to realize that my taste was something that was quite common amongst my friend’s group and those I met in clubs,” she says. The largely t-shirt dominated fashion line began with spray paint on cheap H&M tops being sold at random markets. Today, while everything is still handmade by Egger and her mum, the quality of the clothes is top-notch and have had a storefront since 2013. And, like most things in Vienna, the boutique is hidden but well worth the effort of finding it. Kitsch Bitch also features brands to accessorize their signature t-shirts, like Le Specs sunglasses, Bitch duffel bags and Mint accessories.Show lessRead more
