The Ribbonerie

With over 29 years of experience in the world of ribbon making, Ribboniere founder, manager and sole employee Paulette Knight has amassed a dazzling collection of vintage and contemporary ribbons. The first importer of French wired ribbon to America in 1985, Paulette found the coveted ribbon after numerous strolls throughout the streets of Paris. As a result, Ribboniere began receiving shipments and today the shop boasts an eclectic array of ribbons for nearly every occasion. In a way, the practice of collecting ribbon is a time consuming endeavor. Utilizing two finders in the U.S, and one in France, Paulette’s ribbons now come from across the globe. From double faced satin, to grosgrain, to velvet, to organic cotton, it is hard not find a ribbon that suits your fancy here. Also specializing in vintage buttons and millinery feathers from the 1940’s, Ribboniere not only serves as a trimmings resource, but a long standing time capsule, documenting ribbon making from the past to the present.Show lessRead more
