Parici

The French expression "par ici" means, "go this way” or “by here.” So it seems to be an appropriate name for an eyewear boutique that leads a different way from most others – and who's owner is named Parisima. After years of working in at a typical optical shop, Parisima felt the pull to venture out on her own and do something different. So in 2009 the doors of Parici opened in the Marais as a store where freedom of expression is strongly celebrated, from the architectural design to the actual glasses that are on the shelves. Parici is a creative oasis for customers looking for one-of-a-kind glasses. Instead of providing the same large brand names that most shops carry, Parisima searches the world for talented artisans who create original and unique eyewear. From wooden frames to patterns and leather, there is a bounty of styles to choose from and customers are encouraged to find what they feel expresses there personality. To add to the creative vibe, Parici also functions as an art gallery. Alongside the frames adorning the wooden beamed walls are paintings and sculptures thrown into the mix. Parici is beyond expectation, something your eyes will need to see for themselves.Show lessRead more
