Seigo Neckwear

Seigo feels like a well-kept secret the moment you walk inside. At first touch you can tell the difference between ordinary poly-blend silk ties and Seigo’s 100% percent Japanese silk neckwear. Opened in 1991, the brand has been strongly and surely attracting all types of clients for decades, luring them in with quirky color combinations in ties, suspenders, umbrellas, and bowties. Polka dots, brocades, stripes, and checks are mixed and matched in so many variations the possibilities seem endless. The ties are woven in small mills near Kyoto, and printed by hand-blocked silk screens. These are some of the finest silks on the market, made in manufacturing cities known for kimono craftsmanship. Some of the designs are in very limited edition (under a dozen are produced) so if you see something you like, we recommending jumping on it ASAP! There are clever patterns like ladybugs, whales, and 80s New Wave prints, so hesitating won’t be much of an issue.Show lessRead more
