Save Khaki United

Save Khaki was established with a goal to “bring new life to menswear basics.” After consulting for casual clothing powerhouses like GAP and J.Crew, designer David Mullen opened his first shop in 2006, designing the gamut of casual menswear: V-necks, chinos, cotton/wool blend undershirts and totes. Their Greenwich Avenue location in the West Village is a tiny, straightforward outpost for men’s basics. Their airy NoHo location on Lafayette Street, Safe Haven/Save Khaki, carries everything from clothing to housewares displayed on hooks and shelves with chalkboard labels. Browse hot items like the Anchor Doormat, sisal soaps, linen blankets, signature cotton sweaters and jackets, and soft cotton/linen blend shirts that drape the body beautifully. The company also offers furnishings in the spirit of the Save Khaki style, like the canvas covered couch and reclaimed wood benches made to order. Mullen's line is mostly made in the U.S.A.  – in an L.A. factory and midtown Manhattan.Show lessRead more
