MZ Wallace

Lots of women dream of designing and selling their own line of handbags, but few are as qualified and ultimately as successful as Monica Zwirner and Lucy Wallace Eustice, whose MZ Wallace line now sells at their three New York stores and one in Tokyo’s chic Ginza neighborhood. While Zwimer traveled the world as a marketing and advertising executive, Eustice was busy working as a fashion magazine editor. The two friends banded their talents in 2000 and created MZ Wallace, which now sells practical and stylish handbags in more than 300 shops worldwide. The stain and water resistant bags are free of large logos and are created with quality and durability in mind. Although they limit their line to three to five colors per season, the size and style variety is unmatched.Show lessRead more

    ABOUT US

As chain stores fill the streetscape the world over, this project is a celebration of the independent retailer. All stores featured on Shopikon have been hand-picked by our editors who have visited thousands of stores, and only the best of the bunch make it into our guide. We evaluate stores based on product selection, atmosphere, dedication to their specialty, and overall shopping experience, making sure that they are all worth your trip!
