Meg Cohen Design Shop

Meg Cohen opened her boutique in 2006 and the space stocks a wide array of whimsical knitwear. Polka dots and stripes are available in luxurious wools, many of which are made in England. The color combinations are clever but still wearable, which has lead to Cohen’s partnership with Paul Smith, a staple of British style. Cohen studied at London’s Central St. Martins, which may explain her flair for dandy style. Cohen offers hats and blankets in addition to a mix of vintage jewelry. Cameos and clock pendants are unique and sophisticated, and perfect for the woman ready to embrace a hit of vintage. Ribbed stoles are a must for anyone in need of a little pampering, while the selection of vintage eyewear, cufflinks, and antique sculpted bank buildings make for ideal gifts.Show lessRead more

As chain stores fill the streetscape the world over, this project is a celebration of the independent retailer. All stores featured on Shopikon have been hand-picked by our editors who have visited thousands of stores, and only the best of the bunch make it into our guide. We evaluate stores based on product selection, atmosphere, dedication to their specialty, and overall shopping experience, making sure that they are all worth your trip!
