Landmark Vintage Bicycles

Landmark Bicycles' East Village location opened in 2008, after fans of shop owner Chung Pai's film Love on a Bicycle asked him where they could purchase the stylish vintage bikes from the movie. Now Landmark offers both used and new bikes, and Pai expanded east to Brooklyn in 2011, where he opened a larger store on the other side of the Williamsburg Bridge, catering to bike commuters who can ride over as early as 8am with their cycling needs. Both shops stock highly coveted bike brands like Biria, Viva and Jamis, Kryptonite locks, and colorful helmets by Bern and Nutcase. Landmark also sells a wide selection of every kind of accessory one would need to trick out their ride, such as baskets, horns, bells, front and rear lights, cup holders and water bottles. More a lifestyle store than pure bike shop for casual riders and commuting cyclists, Landmark is summed up by Chung in just a few words: “It’s about having fun on bikes.”Show lessRead more
