KEE's Chocolates

    Opened ten years ago, this tiny chocolate shop on Thompson Street is owned and run by master chocolatier Kee Ling Tong. Hand rolled bon bons, truffles and pastel macaroons look too good to be true behind a long, refrigerated display case. With a minimalist shop design, chocolate is the centerpiece here, made with the finest ingredients and achieving incomparable quality. Kee left her corporate job to pursue the dream to have a chocolate shop, quickly becoming successful by making some of the best, hard-to-resist chocolates in the city. She makes over 50 varieties in the kitchen behind the store daily. With endless flavors utilizing ingredients such as French sea salt, Spanish saffron, and Japanese yuzu, choose from basic heart-shaped chilled chocolates and truffles infused with rose petals and blood orange or green tea macaroons.
