    Blue Apron Foods is a traditional, family-owned specialty food shop nestled within Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood. Your entrance is greeted with the rich scent of coffee beans and the warm aroma of bread, and as you walk further into the depths of this culinary destination you’ll discover baked goods, packaged sweets, and the impressive assortment of cheese and charcuterie that the shop is known for. The owner, Ted Matern, opened Blue Apron in 2002 after recognizing the area’s need for a specialty food shop, and quickly carved out a reputation for stocking quality ingredients and products. A large portion of the cheeses and charcuterie are imported from Europe, although American dairies and local New York bakers and producers are also represented. As an independent business, the shop takes pride in cultivating long and fruitful relationships with vendors from all over the world.
