Super Superficial

Everyone dreams of printing their own T-shirts, don’t they? Well, Super Superficial certainly did and after launching on a stall at the Old Spitalfields Market, they’re now cozily housed in their own Covent Garden and Carnaby Street stores. Besides the new homes, Super Superficial has changed little since its inception. “Commissioning established as well as breaking artists and screen-printing limited runs of their illustrations on a good old t-shirt is the simple creativity of it all” explains partner George Simms. Super Superficial has worked with luminaries such as David Shrigley and Mike Perry in the past but now tends toward less established collectives such as Evening Tweed. Prepare to be mesmerized by the rows of tees by artists like Louise Z Pomeroy, Tom Baxter and Adam Bridgland who each contribute to the brand. Much of the range is unmistakably London, whether it’s the “Soho Bobby” or “Moustache on Queen” design, and the whole collection is also locally produced.Show lessRead more
