House Of Vintage

With Cheshire Street in East London being home to perhaps the highest concentration of vintage stores in the city, there is nowhere better to shop for the fashion gems of the past. Opened in 2010, House of Vintage is one of the best the neighborhood has to offer. Forget rag-tag thrift – this store is home to original World War II Parkas, '60s leather jackets and the odd designer pieces. After setting up shop in Toronto, Canada in 2003, owner Dennis Adamidis then followed up with his London store. Knowledge, taste and a keen eye for detail have kept the shop one step ahead of the Brick Lane vintage game and on every visit something is bound to grab one's attention. Think one-off wedding outfits, men’s workwear, rare sunglasses and a selection of desirable jewelry. Whatever season you visit, House of Vintage seems to have effortlessly found the right edit. While the store might not be as thrifty as some, you can’t argue with the winning combination of quality and style on offer.Show lessRead more
