Hexagone

Tucked in next to the famous antiques arcade Camden Passage, Hexagone brings a touch of Gallic flair to a very traditional London street. Named after the shape of the country that inspired it, Hexagone is a French lifestyle store specializing in heritage and artisanal products from ceramics to clothing, and children’s toys to textiles. Hailing from the south of France, its owners Delphine Reynaud and Karine Duverneuil have curated a store full of chic products that would be tough to find in France, let alone London. Luxury and longevity are the two words that spring to mind when perusing the store, something Duverneuil wholeheartedly agrees with. “We have purposefully bought from a lot of companies that only specialize in just one thing – we are interested in the history and production behind the items,” she says. Their painstaking search for highly covetable - and ethical – products has created a Francophile’s dream. You’ll find brooms with horsehair brushes that come from the only producer left making them in France, striped Breton sweaters that are actually made in Brittany and incredible handmade silk scarves from Vox Populi that match anything Hermés has to offer. Items at Hexagone tend to fall more on the splurge end of the spectrum, but it’s well worth the price for their classic, timeless designs.Show lessRead more
