The Cheese Mountain Tragedy

Inspired by their wild imaginations and mythical tales of the 1854 battle for Cheese Mountain, three artists set up shop in a unique studio and gallery space in Schoenleinstrasse. Here ideas flow freely and fantastical creatures adorn the walls - all original artwork that are full of character and mirth. Josh Bauman, creator of the Caffeinated Toothpaste website, draws wry daily comic strips inspired by his everyday life. When he's not juggling projects through his production company Kaiserbrand, illustrator Wolgang Reimers can be found working on his own brand of ancestral portraits. And meanwhile Johan Potma, also co-owner of Berlin's Zozoville and Onkel Zozo galleries, creates monsters and oddball characters by painting acrylic onto rustic wood surfaces. The Cheese Mountain Tragedy is a warm and welcoming environment that offers everyone the chance to take home a piece of artwork that is sure to put smiles on many faces.Show lessRead more
