S7-STORE

Ring the doorbell of the understated entrance to this showroom and step into the working studio and artfully arranged exhibition space of cutting-edge designers Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth. In demand across the globe, the work of these award-winning German designers is distinguished by the pair's inventive flair and talent for elegant simplicity. Each object has its own story, from the “Mozart Kugel” music box inspired by the famous chocolates, to the sculptural black forest wood “Tower of Babel” designed to relieve the chaos of endless notes, papers and magazines. Many of the objects exemplify the potential to take something everyday and morph it into something chic. Designer-in-residence Adam enjoys the feedback and discussion his unique take on games, toys, stationary, furniture and accessories spark since he opened the space up to the public in 2010.  Prepare to be charmed by this clever selection of "Sachen" - or in English simply, "Things."Show lessRead more

    ABOUT US

As chain stores fill the streetscape the world over, this project is a celebration of the independent retailer. All stores featured on Shopikon have been hand-picked by our editors who have visited thousands of stores, and only the best of the bunch make it into our guide. We evaluate stores based on product selection, atmosphere, dedication to their specialty, and overall shopping experience, making sure that they are all worth your trip!
