Mana Culture

Tucked cozily under a canopy of trees, Mana Culture welcomes you with an exuberant smile ready to adorn you from head to toe in handmade jewelry, clothing, perfume and customized organic airbrush tanning. Created by Hawaiian entrepreneur Jahnavi Sievert, Mana Culture opened the doors of its first brick and mortar store in 2010, giving a permanent home to Jahnavi’s successful stall at Austin’s Congress Market. The new space provided Mana Culture with an opportunity to naturally progress from a display of Jahnavi’s exclusive creations to a diverse range of delectable designers from Austin and beyond. Complimenting Mana Culture’s own handmade collection of laser-cut opals and one-of-a-kind precious stone pieces are carefully curated designs from Vanessa Mooney, Suzanna Dai, Kelly Mitchell Gazdowicz, Lily Lambert and Melanie Casey. An ethos of evolution seems to be key here in business growth and intention, with a goal to enhance one’s inherent style by providing a variety of gorgeous goods for every style and occasion. As chain stores fill the streetscape the world over, this project is a celebration of the independent retailer. All stores featured on Shopikon have been hand-picked by our editors who have visited thousands of stores, and only the best of the bunch make it into our guide. We evaluate stores based on product selection, atmosphere, dedication to their specialty, and overall shopping experience, making sure that they are all worth your trip!
