Martina Salner designs and assembles bespoke clothing. While Salner had known from an early age that fashion was her ideal career, she spent years indulging in making theatre costumes only in her spare time before opening Ready-Made in 2007. Today Ready-Made churns out two collections each year (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter) of what Salner describes as "classically themed" pieces. From skirts and blouses to winter jackets and the occasional men's suit, Ready-Made's output is limited only by one's own imagination and Salner's talents as a seamstress which, by the looks of her display pieces, are multifaceted. Salner uses only natural fabrics and specializes in pieces that incorporate Loden, a water resistant lanolin wool that originated in the Tyrolean region of Austria. Also, those with a taste for old-stock finery be warned: Salner claims to carry the largest reserve of Schiesser brand apparel in Vienna!
