Review of Argenterie De Turenne in Paris
Stepping into the Marais' Argenterie De Turenne, you are sure to be awed by the amount of silver shining back at you. From dainty spoons to large platters and ornate candelabras, the shop, located on Rue de Turenne, offers a vast assortment of silverware and antique objects. In 1999, owners Marie Laure Tranchart and Olivier Brault opened the boutique after noticing a lack in the Parisian retail scene for 19th-century treasures. The spoons, forks, knives and other collectors' items are mostly French in origin, although English products, like the shop's teapot collection, are also available. Argenterie uniquely offers timeless products that encapsulate the elegance of precious metal and the glittering history behind each piece.
