Review of Missing Link in New York
Michael Rodriguez’s store is truly one of a kind. The cufflink connoisseur has been in the business since 1997, and over the years has amassed one of the most impressive collections of cufflinks, tie bars and tuxedo studs in New York City, if not the world. This space is a must stop for any dapper gentleman accustomed to a cufflink shirt or tuxedo. Rodriguez offers just about any style imaginable, from novelty oversize cufflinks to classic styles in lapis, obsidian, and opal. Art Deco enamels are in ample supply, along with snap close cufflinks, a relic of the past that really should never have gone out of style. Pieces date back to the mid-19th century. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment if you would like to see some styles from Rodriguez’s rare collection. There are enough pieces in this tiny shop to spend an entire afternoon choosing from everything from classic to totally sensational.
