Park Slope
The most literally-named neighborhood in Brooklyn, Park Slope runs downhill from the western edge of Prospect Park to the 4th Avenue Gowanus border. Anyone with a phobia of canines, yoga, toddlers or aspiring literati should probably steer clear, but most will be seduced by the area's comfortable vibe and thriving restaurant scene.
