Bermondsey
Located on the south bank of the Thames, Bermondsey sits to the east of Tower Bridge. A redeveloped neighborhood of both residential and commercial real estate, its former slums were known to have inspired the setting of Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver Twist. An altogether classier place these days, it is home to Bermondsey Antiques Market every Friday.
